Methods Business and Digital Technology Limited is seeking an experienced User Researcher to join our growing public sector team on a permanent basis. You will champion the user throughout services and products, conducting studies and presenting insights to diverse audiences.

You will work on government-related projects, applying ethical research practices and GDS standards within agile multidisciplinary teams to shape user-centred design across digital products and services.

Qualifications

• Experience with user-centered design in public sector contexts.
• Ability to plan and conduct mixed-methods research.
• Experience with ethical research practices (consent).
• Strong stakeholder engagement.

Responsabilités

• Champion the user on services and products.
• Plan and conduct user research, recruit participants, analyse data, present findings.
• Tell compelling stories of research findings to diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with the product team to translate findings into prototypes and features.
• Present research insights and recommendations to the product team and stakeholders.
• Promote user-centered design and accessibility best practices within government.
• Undertake qualitative and quantitative research projects such as ethnography and usability studies.
