Job summary

Methods Business and Digital Technology Limited is seeking a Senior User Researcher to join our growing team on a permanent basis. You will champion the user, work on public sector products, and apply high ethical standards in research.

You will collaborate with product managers, researchers, and designers, mentor junior staff, and help set standards for research across our Digital Delivery portfolio while advocating user-centred design.

Qualifications

• Experience running research and analysis in public-sector projects.
• Adhere to government service standards and ethics in user research.
• Knowledge of government service standards and principles.

Responsibilities

• Devise research strategies with client product managers.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team on research and analysis.
• Advocate for users and communicate their needs clearly.
• Present and test conclusions from diverse evidence.
• Guide and mentor other researchers.
• Set and monitor research standards (ethics, lab testing, recruitment).
• Coordinate quality user research across the portfolio.
