Job summary

A leading cancer center in the UK is seeking a dedicated Uro-Oncological Clinical Fellow. This full-time role requires good general surgical experience with core skills in Urology. You'll assist in delivering a high-quality tertiary referral urological cancer service and participate in clinical research and educational activities. The successful candidate will join a team in a comprehensive cancer center focused on advanced treatment strategies, gaining valuable experience in the field. This position supports 40 hours per week and does not require on-call commitments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of general surgical experience and 2 years in Urology.
  • Evidence of teaching activity over the last 12 months.
  • Participation in clinical research and audit.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in delivery of a high-quality tertiary referral urological cancer service.
  • Work alongside Consultant Urological Surgeons and junior doctors.
  • Participate in MDT and research meetings.

General Surgical experience

Education

MB BS or equivalent
MRCS or equivalent
Full GMC registration with a license to practice
