The Emergency Department (ED) at Charing Cross Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and approachable Receptionist to join our frontline team. in our Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC). This is a vital role in ensuring that every patient and visitor arriving at our department receives a welcoming, efficient and supportive first point of contact.
As the receptionist in the emergency department, you will play a key part in maintaining the smooth running of our busy service. You will greet patients, relatives, and colleagues with professionalism and empathy, recognising that many individuals arriving in the ED may be anxious, distressed or unwell. Your ability to provide reassurance, clear information and a calm presence will be essential to creating a positive experience for everyone who enters the department.
