Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated and compassionate tutors and mentors to support young people who require alternative provision across Hampshire.

What we offer:
  • Flexible tuition sessions ranging from 2 to 15 hours per week - perfect for those seeking part-time or full-time work.
  • Opportunities to work with learners of different ages and abilities, tailoring lessons to meet individual needs and strengths.
  • Sessions typically take place in the student's home, but can also be arranged in public spaces such as libraries or cafés. We always consider your location to ensure convenience.
What we're looking for:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or at least 6 months' experience teaching or tutoring young people in the UK.
  • An enhanced child and adult DBS registered on the update service (we can help you obtain one if needed).
  • Note: If you hold a child-only DBS on the update service, you can work with under-18 students but not those aged 18 or over.
