A supporting educational organization is seeking tutors in Hazel Grove to assist pupils in their transition from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3. This role focuses on providing one-to-one tuition in Maths and English, aimed at strengthening foundations and boosting confidence before entering secondary school. Ideal candidates will possess patience and adaptability, and have relevant qualifications to support learners effectively. Working hours are flexible, with competitive pay rates ranging from £25 to £30 per hour.
TP Tutors is currently recruiting tutors in the Hazel Grove (SK7) area to support pupils at Key Stage 2 and during the transition into Key Stage 3.
This role is ideal for teachers or tutors who enjoy working closely with pupils at a crucial stage of their education. You’ll be supporting learners in core subjects such as Maths and English, helping to strengthen foundations, close learning gaps, and build confidence as pupils prepare for secondary school expectations.
Tuition is delivered on a one-to-one, face-to-face basis, either in the pupil’s home or a local community setting. Sessions are fully tailored, allowing you to adapt content, pace and approach to suit each learner’s academic and emotional needs.
Many pupils benefit from this support due to anxiety, missed learning, or a need for a quieter alternative to the classroom — making patience, encouragement and clear structure key parts of the role.
£25–£30 per hour, depending on experience
