Unity Schools Trust is seeking an outstanding Lead Practitioner of Maths to provide strategic leadership for Mathematics teaching and learning across two of our secondary schools : Magna Carta School in Staines and Bishop David Brown School in Woking.
This is a trust-wide leadership role focused on raising standards, developing curriculum excellence and improving outcomes in Maths. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders, Heads of Department and teaching staff to drive consistent, high-quality practice across both schools.
Lead the Maths curriculum and pedagogy across Magna Carta School and Bishop David Brown School
Model and embed outstanding teaching and learning in Mathematics
Support and coach Maths teachers through professional development and mentoring
Use data and assessment to drive improvement in student progress and attainment
Contribute to trust-wide educational strategy alongside the MAT Education Director
Promote consistency, innovation and best practice across both school sites
An excellent classroom practitioner with a proven track record in Maths
Experience of leading teaching and learning, curriculum development or coaching
Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics education
Ability to work strategically across multiple schools
Committed to collaboration, professional growth and raising standards
Experience within a multi-academy trust is desirable but not essential
