Travel and Tourism Teacher (Level 2)

School / Area: Business – School of Creative Business & Service Industries

Salary: Up to £31.24 per hour

Basis: Sessional

Responsibilities
  • Plan and teach high‑quality lessons aligned with the Level 2 Travel and Tourism curriculum, ensuring learners develop knowledge of the industry, customer service, and destination management.
  • Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to support individual learning needs.
  • Keep teaching materials up to date with current travel and tourism trends, adhere to awarding body standards, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and health & safety policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Essential: Enhanced DBS check and full compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education Guidelines.
  • Experience and qualifications in the travel and tourism sector or related teaching experience are desirable.
  • Commitment to inclusivity, safeguarding, and professional standards.
