Job summary

SENse Learning seeks passionate teachers for SEND Teacher roles delivering bespoke one-to-one tutoring across SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and PMLD. Positions are available across in-person, hybrid and online formats, with rolling interviews as applications arrive.

Applicants should have 2+ years post-NQT experience, QTS/QTLS, and a child-centred, holistic teaching philosophy. DBS and references are required; safeguarding knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Child-centred, holistic approach; ability to tailor the curriculum to individual needs.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with right to work (including for remote/online roles).
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid support to learners with SEND needs.
• Plan and report on lessons with regular feedback on progress.
