Job summary

SENse Learning seeks dedicated SEND Teachers to provide one-to-one support to students with SEND across SEMH, MLD, SLD and PMLD. Roles include in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring, with flexible hours and part-time to full-time arrangements.

You will work within a trauma-informed framework to help learners who have often faced challenges in education. You must hold QTS/QTLS and bring 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience in relevant settings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a holistic approach.
• QTS or QTLS certification required.
• Ability to work in a child-centred, holistic way and adapt curriculum to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report lessons, give regular feedback on student progress.
• Coordinate with parents, carers, or schools to schedule sessions and tailor support.
