Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking a SEND Teacher in the UK to provide one-to-one, trauma-informed tutoring across SEND and SEMH learners. Roles include in-person, online/remote, and hybrid delivery, with flexibility to align lesson times with families and schools.

You will work to empower students who have often faced educational barriers and tailor sessions to EHCP plans. Ideal candidates will have QTS/QTLS, at least 2+ years post-NQT experience, and a proactive, child-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering one-to-one support to SEND/SEMH learners is essential.
• Trauma-informed approaches to education are required.
• Ability to tailor teaching to individual EHCPs and needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote or hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and report on lessons with regular progress updates.
• Create safe, supportive learning environments and adapt to student risk assessments.
