Job summary

SENse Learning is hiring SEND Tutors to make a meaningful difference in the UK. Roles include in-person, online and hybrid tutoring for children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs, from KS1 to KS5, with flexible hours and self-employment options.

We seek candidates with QTS/QTLS, 2+ years post-NQT experience, safeguarding knowledge and a compassionate, student-centred approach that adapts to individual needs and EHCP plans. DBS and references are advised.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed approach.
• QTS or QTLS required.
• Enhanced DBS and two professional references are recommended.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring to KS1–KS5 as appropriate.
• Plan, deliver and adapt flexible, trauma-informed lessons; provide progress updates and reports.
