Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking SEND Tutors to provide one-on-one support across KS1–KS5 in the UK. Roles include in-person, online/remote, and hybrid delivery, tailored to individual EHCPs and trauma-informed approaches.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, a QTS/QTLS certification, and are DBS-checked with references. Self-employed tutor arrangements are used; rolling interviews and ongoing hiring.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
• Enhanced DBS & 2+ references
• Based in the UK with right to work, including for remote/online roles

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring tailored to EHCPs and risk assessments
• Support pupils KS1–KS5 with trauma-informed, student-centred tutoring and mentoring
• Plan lessons and report progress with regular feedback
