Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking SEND Tutors to deliver one-to-one, trauma-informed tutoring across home, community, and online settings in the UK. Roles are flexible with in-person, hybrid, and remote options, and tailored to each student’s needs.

Applicants should have QTS/QTLS and 2+ years post-NQT experience with SEND/SEMH, plus Enhanced DBS and references. This self-employed tutoring opportunity supports safeguarding and flexible scheduling with families and schools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a holistic, trauma-informed way.
• Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate) and 2+ professional references.
• Based in the UK with the right to work; remote/online possible.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring.
• Plan and deliver flexible, trauma-informed tutoring tailored to EHCPs and risk assessments.
• Report progress and provide regular feedback on student development.
