Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking a SEND Teacher in the UK to provide one-to-one tutoring across SEND needs, including SEMH, MLD, SLD and PMLD. You will work in home, community, and online settings with flexible scheduling to suit families and schools.

The role requires 2+ years post-NQT SEND experience, QTS/QTLS, enhanced DBS, and strong safeguarding practices. You will join a mission-driven team offering trauma-informed, student-centered support.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years post-NQT with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD in trauma-informed settings.
• QTS or QTLS is required and enhanced DBS with 2+ references.
• Holistic, child-centred approach; adapt curriculum to individual needs.
• UK-based with right to work; safeguarding knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with diverse needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid support to learners with SEND/SEMH.
• Plan lessons and report progress; tailor tutoring to EHCP and risk assessments.
• Deliver trauma-informed, student-centered mentoring and tutoring.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and maintain a safe learning environment.
