Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking passionate SEND Tutors to make a real difference for children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs. Roles are available on a flexible, self-employed basis across in-person, hybrid and online settings, with hourly rates of £35–£45.

Applicants should have QTS/QTLS and a trauma-informed approach. Join a mission-driven team that supports learners in KS1–KS5, offers safeguarding checks, and arranges interviews on a rolling basis.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD/PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed approach.
• Enhanced DBS - we can facilitate this if needed.
• Location: UK-based with right to work, including remote/online roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring tailored to EHCP and risk assessments.
• Plan and report on lessons and progress, delivering flexible, trauma-informed support across KS1–KS5.
