Job summary

SENse Learning in the United Kingdom is seeking a SEND Teacher to provide one-to-one support for learners with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and PMLD. The role offers in-person, online and hybrid teaching with flexible hours and a trauma-informed approach.

You will work across KS1–KS5, build relationships, plan lessons, report progress and collaborate with a supportive team to help students catch up and progress in their education.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMh/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a holistic, trauma‑informed way.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) is required and enhanced DBS is preferred.
• UK-based with right to work and safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring to KS1–KS5.
• Plan lessons, deliver tailored support, and report on student progress.
