Job summary

SENse Learning in the United Kingdom is seeking SEND Tutors to provide one-to-one support for children and young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD and other needs. Roles include in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring across KS1–KS5, with trauma-informed, student-centered approaches.

You will work as a self-employed tutor, with flexible hours and schedules coordinated with families and schools, delivering bespoke lessons and reporting progress.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD in a holistic, trauma-informed way.
• QTS or QTLS required; Enhanced DBS preferred or can be facilitated.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs and deliver tailored 1:1 tutoring.
• Provide in-person, online/remote and hybrid support, plan lessons, and report progress for KS1–KS5.
