Job summary

SENse Learning seeks SEND Tutors to provide one-to-one support for learners across KS1–KS5 in the UK. Deliver in-person, online, or hybrid sessions, focusing on SEMH, SEND, MLD, SLD and other needs.

Role is self-employed with flexible hours and a trauma-informed, student-centred approach. Competitive pay (£35–£45/hr) and safeguarding emphasis are offered to tutors who join our mission.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD, in a trauma-informed way.
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / QTLS.
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with a range of needs.
• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid support to SEND learners across KS1–KS5.
• Plan and report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
