Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking a SEND Tutor in the United Kingdom to provide one-to-one support for students with SEND/SEMH across KS1–KS5. Roles include specialist teaching, intervention tutoring, and SEND teaching, with rolling interviews and ongoing recruitment.

Positions are flexible in hours and delivery mode (in-person, hybrid, or remote) to fit family needs. Experience with trauma-informed approaches and DBS checks is valued in this impactful role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Understanding of child-centred, holistic teaching approaches.
• Ability to tailor teaching to individual child needs in a trauma-informed way.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH needs.
• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring and mentoring from KS1–KS5.
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
