Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking SEND Teachers to provide one-to-one support for students with SEND across KS1–KS5 in the UK. Roles include SEND Tutor, Intervention Tutor, and Specialist Teacher, with ongoing hiring and rolling interviews.

We offer flexible hours, a trauma-informed approach, DBS support, and a community of professionals dedicated to helping learners achieve education goals beyond traditional settings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years post-NQT teaching with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD/PMLD trauma-informed.
• QTS/QTLS qualification.
• Child-centered, holistic approach and curriculum adaptation.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references.
• UK-based with right to work in the UK and safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with SEND learners and provide tailored tutoring.
• Deliver in-person, online/remote, and hybrid support to pupils with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Plan lessons, provide regular feedback on progress, and adapt to EHCPs and risk assessments.
• Support KS1–KS5 as appropriate and collaborate with clients and schools.
