Job summary

SENse Learning is seeking SEND Tutors to provide one-to-one support for students with SEND across KS1–KS5, working in homes, online, or in the community with a trauma-informed approach.

You will plan and deliver flexible tutoring, coordinate with parents and schools, and uphold safeguarding standards. Roles are self-employed with competitive pay (£35–£45/hour) and flexible hours, including in-person, hybrid, and remote teaching opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of post-NQT teaching experience, ideally with SEND/ SEMH/ MLD/ SLD/ PMLD in a trauma-informed approach.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ QTLS) required.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children and young people with SEND/SEMH.
• Provide in-person, online/remote, and hybrid tutoring.
• Plan and report on lessons with progress feedback.
• Work as a self-employed tutor and coordinate with families and schools.
