Qualifications

  • Practical experience in a similar role is desirable.

Transport Planning Accounts Coordinator *12 Month FTC*

Culina Logistics provides integrated supply chain services and expertise for food & drink products that require strict refrigerated temperatures.

We're now recruiting for a new Transport Planning Accounts Coordinator to join our friendly team at our Market Drayton site. As a Transport Planning Accounts Coordinator you will be reporting & publishing daily transport costs and supporting the finance team in the reporting of accurate weekly accounts. Capturing haulage spend (circa £750k per week), and using SAP to raise weekly invoices for all 3rd party transport as is required by the central planning teams.

Please note, this is a fixed term, 12 month contract.

Salary: £32, remnants per annum

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:30

Key Duties include:
  • Capturingdaily haulage loads & prepare the weekly haulage spend file for central accounts.
  • Provide hauliers with a work sheet for a weekly self-bill.
  • Proactive monitoringof weekly self-bill documents.
  • Sendingout weekly fuel surcharge escalators to 3rd party subcontractors.
  • Using SAP System to accurately raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders for 3rd party hauliers.
  • Maintaining Kronos and reporting any exceptions to the Transport Network Operations Manager.
  • Liaising with the accounts payable department to ensure efficient payment of invoices.
  • Completion of monthly expenditure within accounts month end and year end deadlines.
  • POD chasing and checking with 3rd party hauliers and Culina depot transport teams for any transport revenue streams.
  • Any other administrative duties as instructed by the Head of Transport Planning and Transport Network Operations Managers.

Technical Skills
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook (or relevant equivalent)

Experience
  • Previous experience using Kronos workforce management system
  • Practical experience in a similar role ispreferred but not essential
  • Relevant experience in an FMCG environment isdesirable
