Qualifications

• Previous experience in transport planning or logistics coordination.
• Knowledge of transport legislation including the Highway Code and EU Drivers’ Hours.
• Good geographical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily transport operations for efficiency.
• Maximise vehicle and driver utilisation using transport management systems.
• Coordinate vehicle and trailer availability with the Workshop.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and customers.
• Manage driver and staffing levels for daily requirements.
• Handle customer bookings and operational updates.
• Support cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and compliant working environment.
