Overview

The Company
We are working with a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, known for delivering high-quality transport planning and infrastructure solutions across the UK. With a growing London office, they are seeking an ambitious Transport Planner to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans to support planning applications.
  • Carry out junction capacity modelling and traffic impact assessments using software such as Junctions 9, LinSig, TRICS, and TEMPro.
  • Contribute to sustainable transport strategies and masterplanning projects.
  • Prepare clear, professional technical reports for clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Support senior colleagues with client liaison and project delivery.
Candidate Requirements
  • Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in development planning within a consultancy or local authority.
  • Knowledge of transport planning software (Junctions 9, LinSig, TRICS, TEMPro).
  • Strong analytical, written, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, detail-driven, and able to work both independently and in a team.
