Transport Manager - Redditch. Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Benefits. Our client, a leading construction company experiencing significant growth, is seeking a Transport Manager to oversee and optimise fleet operations. Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the company's fleet (250+ vans).
• Monitor vehicle usage through the fleet tracker system.
• Ensure vehicles are serviced on time and remain fully compliant.
• Liaise with local garages and suppliers to arrange repairs and maintenance.
• Carry out regular checks on vehicle condition and compliance.
• Produce detailed reports on vehicle status, usage, and maintenance history.
• Track vehicles and update systems accurately.

About You

• Proven experience managing a large fleet (ideally 250+ vans).
• Knowledge or exposure to plant machinery (e.g. diggers, excavators, low loaders, tipper wagons) is desirable but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• A proactive approach to compliance and safety.
