Qualifications

• Proven knowledge and experience of tachograph/driving rules and regulations.
• Significant transport experience within an FMCG environment is desirable.
• Planning and organizing skills to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Previous management/supervisory experience.
• Good IT skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
• CPC National is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Create and update daily run summaries to achieve deadlines.
• Liaise with shunting operations for pre-loading and unloading.
• Ensure service levels are maintained with other departments.
• Plan runs according to shift patterns and available hours.
• Ensure legal compliance on defects, services, and MOTs.
• Maintain clear communication with drivers.
• Adhere to all statutory health and safety policies.
• Assist in disciplinary hearings and return to work meetings.
