This full-time Transport Coordinator position at TML Transport in Welshpool WA 6106 is an exciting opportunity to join a leading company in the road transport industry. As the Transport Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of TML Transport's fleet and delivery operations.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating the daily scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and drivers to meet customer delivery requirements
• Monitoring vehicle and driver performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Communicating with customers, drivers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
• Maintaining accurate records of vehicle movements, delivery performance, and other operational data
• Assisting with the implementation of company policies and procedures related to transport operations
• Identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the delivery process

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a transport coordination or logistics role, preferably within the road transport industry
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
• Proficient in the use of transport management systems and other relevant software
• A valid driver's licence and a good understanding of road transport regulations and compliance requirements (both NHVR and WA fatigue)
• HC Licence an advantage
• A demonstrated commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
