A healthcare organization in Dorchester is seeking a Band 4 role to assist registered nurses in providing high-quality patient-centered care. The successful candidate will help with obtaining specimens, triaging patient concerns, and acting as a link between patients and medical staff. Knowledge in renal care is beneficial yet not mandatory, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates eager to make a difference. A strategic objective of the Renal Operational Delivery Networks (ODN) is to increase to 40% of the Living Kidney Donors (LKD) to be pre-emptive, a positive step in preventing the need for individuals to commence renal replacement therapy.
The role of the Band 4 will be new to the team assisting the registered nurses in providing high quality patient centred care. This role will be vital in helping to ensure that all patients receive education & timely referral for transplant.
Renal knowledge & experience is desirable but not essential for the successful candidate as they will undertake a range of skilled procedures relevant to the clinical sphere after receiving relevant training and competency assessments have been completed.
