JOB SUMMARY
The post holder will work as part of the Transformation Division reporting to the Head of Strategic Transformation. The post holder will support the Head of Strategic Transformation in co-ordinating the organisational wide transformation programme. Responsible for leading and delivering complex programmes aligned to organisational priorities. The role involves managing multiple complex projects within a transformation portfolio, ensuring delivery of benefits, quality improvements, and financial efficiencies. The post holder will work collaboratively across Integrated Care System (ICS) partners, clinical teams, and corporate services to implement sustainable change using recognised programme management methodologies. The post holder will work with a high degree of autonomy within the Transformation governance framework. Leads designated programmes, taking decisions on prioritisation, resource deployment and risk mitigation; escalates material risks/variances to the Head of Strategic Transformation.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with other areas of the transformation division to ensure a consistent approach to change management.
- Oversee the programme management of individual transformation programmes as delegated by the Head of Strategic Transformation.
- Engage and build strong relationships with relevant key internal partners to deliver on transformation programmes, including project leads, clinical experts, and service users.
- Communicate, engage and build relationships with key strategic partners to support the delivery of transformation programmes.
- Engage and manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve a common purpose and realise mutual benefits within delegated transformation responsibility.
- Communicate complex, sensitive and contentious information to a wide range of audiences, including in public and local consultations where hostile audiences may be present.
