Job Title: Training Manager

Salary: £36,750 (Pro-rata)

Location: Health Vision UK, Network Hub, 300 Kensal Road, W10 5BE

Job Type: Part time, Permanent — This is a part‑time position, and the position holder will be required to work 13 days per payroll month. The working days can be discussed in the interview process.

We are a trusted provider for over 600 individuals who receive our services. We support people with a range of needs right across London, all delivered from our Head Office in North Kensington and our Hounslow branch. Growth has come thanks to our excellent reputation among a local network of referrers, from community groups, social workers and advocates.

The Role

The main purpose of this role is to ensure that Healthvision has a skilled and well‑trained workforce who are able to deliver care in accordance with our service requirements. The Training Manager will ensure that training is undertaken by staff to meet our compliance obligations as specified by regulatory organisations. The Training Manager will design the training material, administer the training programme and deliver the training courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and continually develop a training programme which meets the learning and development needs of all staff throughout the organisation
  • Deliver interactive and engaging training courses which upskill and develop our workforce
  • Maintain training records including booking staff on relevant training programmes and recording attendance
  • Maintain the records in the Adult Social Care Data Set (formerly NMDS) to claim funding
  • Maintain knowledge of best practice and CQC regulations and adapt training material accordingly
  • Work closely with the two Registered Managers to ensure that the training programme meets the needs of the organisation
  • Assess training performance and address areas for improvement
  • Support learners to achieve additional qualifications
  • Identify additional learning requirements for trainees
  • Support trainees who have difficulties with classroom‑based learning
Position Requirements
  • Achieved L3 (or above) Health and Social Care qualification
  • At least 2 years training experience in social care settings
  • Have Train‑the‑Trainer qualifications in relevant subjects (ie safeguarding, moving & Handling etc)
  • Ability to write training programme and training material which meet the needs of the organisation (Care Certificate, refreshers, short courses)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Background in providing care
  • Achieved or prepared to gain PTTLS qualification
