Our Colposcopy Unit is a centre of excellence for women with pre‑invasive cervical disease. As one of the first units nationally to introduce nurse‑led colposcopy clinics, we currently have four accredited nurse colposcopists delivering outstanding patient care.
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated and resourceful Registered General Nurse to join our team as a trainee nurse colposcopist. This role offers the unique opportunity to undertake specialist training in accordance with British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP)/RCOG guidelines. Applicants must be a Registered General Nurse with at least two years of current experience within women’s health, gynaecology or primary care, and evidence of post‑registration education.
The job holder must take responsibility, in agreement with their line manager, for their own personal development, ensuring that Continuous Professional Development remains a priority. All mandatory training for the role will be undertaken.
