Overview

Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH) is seeking a passionate and experienced Midwife to specialise in High Risk antenatal care. The role involves leading and implementing maternity services across multiple sites within the MDT, including support for SBL, MNSI, CNST and Ockenden.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and service implementation within maternity services.
• Support women across a variety of locations and travel between sites as required.
• Complete a full sonography course covering early pregnancy and obstetric scanning.
• Engage with the MDT to enhance patient experience in difficult situations.

Qualifications

• Band 6 Midwife with significant clinical experience in Midwifery.
• Strong academic history to complete the required sonography qualifications.
• Passion for improving services for women and their families.
• Ability to travel between sites and support women across a variety of locations.
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to delivering competent and caring care.
