A leading engineering company in Nottingham is seeking a Traffic & Highway Engineering Apprentice to assist engineers in various transport projects. The role involves working on design drawings, analyzing traffic data, and participating in site visits. Ideal candidates will have a keen interest in traffic engineering, a willingness to learn, and basic software skills in CAD. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a multidisciplinary team.
As a Traffic & Highway Engineering Apprentice, you'll assist our engineers and designers on a wide range of traffic and transport projects. You'll learn how to develop, design, and deliver engineering solutions that support active travel, public transport, and safer road networks.
Maintain project records and support general project administration.
You'll work as part of multidisciplinary teams and gain hands-on experience using industry-standard tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Building Information Modelling (BIM) software. Over time, you'll take on more responsibility as your skills and knowledge develop.
