Howdens Joinery Limited is seeking a Business Developer to grow its local depot by speaking with customers face to face and over the phone. You will introduce new trade customers, nurture current accounts, and find opportunities to increase spend by understanding customer needs and active projects.

In a busy depot team, you will generate leads, arrange appointments, and keep the pipeline moving, working with Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives to convert conversations

Qualifications

• Confident communicator capable of talking to customers on the phone and face to face.
• Able to build relationships and turn conversations into opportunities.
• Commercially minded with a focus on driving sales and adding value.

Responsibilities

• Call existing trade customers to build long-term relationships and grow future business.
• Use customer data to spot inactivity and bring accounts back on track.
• Manage a targeted customer list and achieve daily call activity levels.
