Howdens Joinery is looking for a Business Developer to grow your local depot by securing new trade customers, nurturing existing accounts and spotting opportunities to increase spend. You’ll generate leads, arrange appointments and move the pipeline with our Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with customers on the phone and face to face.
• Ability to build relationships and turn conversations into opportunities.

• Organised and able to manage customer activity and pipelines.
• Comfortable working to call targets and activity levels.

Responsibilities

• Call existing trade customers to build long-term relationships and grow future business.
• Use customer data to spot inactivity and bring accounts back on track.
• Manage a targeted customer list and achieve daily call activity levels.
• Keep up to date with customer projects to identify opportunities for value and repeat business.
• Arrange surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
• Promote products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
• Support administration, including invoicing and depot tasks and work with the wider team to hit targets.
