Overview

As our Trade Sales Analyst, you’ll work within our multi-award-winning Trade Sales department, a team who work with our independent Travel Agent partners across the country to sell Jet2holidays. Trade Sales is a vital route to market for our business. Our Trade Sales Analyst takes responsibility to provide the Travel Agents with their sales performance for Jet2holidays. Our analysts are vital to our success, they provide us with valuable information and analysis on recent performance, forward bookings and any patterns on routes, destinations or products. This information provides us with a roadmap for growth, giving us valuable insights into where we need to improve and how we can do it while staying ahead of our competition!


This role will be offered as a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. As our Trade Sales Analyst, you’ll have access to a wide range of benefits including:

What you\'ll be doing


  • Provide analysis of the daily and weekly sales including MTD, YTD, FYTD Trade Performance.

  • Respond to requests for information or analysis from within the Trade Team or other departments such as Revenue or Finance.

  • Turn high-level MI requirements into Trade Tableau visualisations using accurate and tested data.

  • Provide competitor analysis including trends in their prices; the effect of promotions on our sales.

  • Maintain and develop existing performance tracking tools used within the Trade Team on Tableau.

  • Provide analysis on forward bookings including any patterns with year-on-year performance by route, destination or product. Along with identifying any patterns in changes to trends by route, destination or product.

  • Maintain usable and accurate historical sales and information for use in benchmarking analysis and to improve forecasting methods.

  • Learn the nature of Jet2holidays Trade business and operation, with reference to the Independent Travel Agent sales market.

  • Constantly improve the current Trade Data, MI and Tableau visualisation.
