Job summary

Howdens Joinery is looking for a proactive Business Developer to grow our local depot. You’ll speak to customers face to face and on the phone, build relationships and convert conversations into opportunities that drive spend.

Working with Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives, you’ll generate leads, arrange appointments and keep the pipeline moving, aiming to exceed daily call targets and activity levels.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face and telephone communication with customers.
• Ability to build relationships and convert conversations into opportunities.
• Commercial focus with drive to hit targets and add value.

Responsibilities

• Calling existing trade customers to build long term relationships.
• Generate leads and arrange appointments for depot team.
• Keep track of pipelines and promote products and events.
• Support administration and depot tasks to help hit targets.
