Howdens Joinery is seeking a Business Developer to grow the local depot by building relationships with trade customers and driving sales. You will generate leads, arrange appointments, and manage pipeline activity alongside Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives.

You’ll work face-to-face and on the phone, thrive on targets, and contribute to a strong team culture with bonuses and incentives. The role is based in the depot near Egham, UK.

Competenze

• A confident communicator who is comfortable speaking to customers on the phone and face to face.
• Enjoys building relationships and turning conversations into opportunities.
• Commercially minded with a focus on driving sales and adding value.
• Self-motivated, positive and proactive.
• Organised and reliable, able to manage customer activity and keep track of pipelines.
• Comfortable working to call targets and activity levels.
• Experience in telesales, account management or a customer focused role is helpful.

Mansioni

• Calling existing trade customers to build long term relationships and grow future business.
• Using customer data to spot inactivity and bring accounts back on track.
• Managing a targeted customer list and achieving daily call activity levels.
• Arranging surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
• Promoting products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
• Supporting administration, including invoicing and general depot tasks.
• Working closely with the wider team to help the depot hit its targets and deliver great service.
