Howdens Joinery in the UK is recruiting a Business Developer to grow the local depot. You’ll connect with trade customers face to face and by phone, build strong relationships and spot opportunities to increase spend by understanding what customers are working on.

Working with the depot team, you’ll generate leads, arrange appointments, and keep the pipeline moving, collaborating with Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives to convert conversations into opportunities and then

• Confident communicator capable of talking to customers face to face and on the phone.
• Ability to build relationships and turn conversations into opportunities.
• Commercial mindset with a focus on driving sales and adding value.

Responsabilidades

• Calling existing trade customers to build long term relationships and grow future business.
• Using customer data to spot inactivity and bring accounts back on track.
• Managing a targeted customer list and achieving daily call activity levels.
• Keeping up to date with customer projects to identify opportunities to add value and drive repeat business.
• Arranging surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
• Promoting products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
• Supporting administration, including invoicing and general depot tasks.
• Working closely with the wider team to help the depot hit its targets and deliver great service.
