Howdens Joinery, the UK’s No1 Trade Kitchen Supplier, is seeking a Business Developer to grow local depot activity. You’ll engage trade customers, build relationships, and drive sales by understanding customer needs and opportunities.

The role involves lead generation, appointment setting, and pipeline management alongside Kitchen Sales Designers and Territory Sales Representatives. You’ll benefit from a competitive salary, generous bonuses, and depot incentives, plus a strong benefits package

• A confident communicator who is comfortable speaking to customers on the phone and face to face.
• Strong relationship-building and opportunity-generation skills.

Responsibilities

• Call existing trade customers to build long-term relationships and grow future business.
• Use customer data to spot inactivity and rekindle accounts.
• Manage a targeted customer list and achieve daily call activity levels.
• Keep up to date with customer projects to identify value-adding opportunities.
• Arrange surveys and appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
• Promote products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
• Support administration, including invoicing and depot tasks.
