Howdens Joinery in Bedford is seeking a proactive Business Developer to grow our local depot’s trade customers. You’ll speak to customers face-to-face and on the phone, build lasting relationships and convert conversations into opportunities and sales.

You’ll work with the depot team, generate leads, arrange appointments, and keep the sales pipeline moving, while hitting targets. A friendly, proactive attitude and comfort with calls are essential.

Formación

• Proven ability to build relationships with trade customers.
• Comfortable speaking with customers on the phone and in person.
• Experience in telesales or account management is helpful.
• Organised and motivated with a proactive approach.
• Commercial mindset with focus on driving sales.

Responsabilidades

• Calling existing trade customers to build long-term relationships.
• Using customer data to spot inactivity and grow accounts.
• Managing a targeted customer list and daily activity levels.
• Promoting products, offers and events to keep customers engaged.
• Arranging surveys/appointments for Kitchen Sales Designers.
• Supporting administration and depot tasks.
• Working with the depot team to hit targets and deliver great service.
