Job description
Position

Trade Engineer - Electrician (Multi‑Skilled)

Salary

£43,072 inclusive of call‑out and rota participation

Location

Birmingham & Coventry

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake works relating to the primary trade skill and a range of associated multi‑skilled tasks as required to enable the fulfilment of primary trade activities.
  • Day‑to‑day electrical repairs, replace/install electric showers, fault finding, consumer unit upgrades, electrical testing.
  • Support an emergency call‑out rota in line with the Maintenance Operatives local procedures (additional payment for each call).
  • Be suitably qualified, on an ongoing basis, to carry out all works, meeting all regulatory and H&S requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (buildings, structures and the environment), includes integrated AM2 assessment of competence.
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment (or the equivalent).
  • City & Guilds 2382‑18 (18th Edition) and any amendments.
  • City & Guilds 2330 Levels 2 & 3 or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds 2919‑01.
  • EV Charging (Desirable).
  • ECS Gold Card Holder or equivalent experience or grading.
  • Experience of working with 3‑phase installations (Desirable).
