Join Aptean's UK Team Specializing in TMS Solutions

Aptean is seeking an exceptional Account Manager to join our UK team, specializing in the Transportation Management System (TMS) sector. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of clients, focusing on maintaining and increasing renewal rates while driving additional revenue through new products and upsell opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers to ensure high retention rates and customer loyalty.
  • Revenue Growth: Identify and close deals for additional TMS products, licenses, and upgrades to drive revenue growth.
  • Customer Insight: Understand each customer's business goals, projects, and challenges to provide tailored solutions.
  • Strategic Account Management: Develop strategic account plans, prioritize accounts, and manage revenue and bookings quotas.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver added value to accounts.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and Aptean's TMS products to better serve customer accounts.
  • Customer Engagement: Coordinate technical presentations and participate in marketing events to showcase the value of our TMS solutions.
  • Product Strategy: Provide insights into customer needs and industry trends to influence Aptean’s product strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3–5 years as an account manager, preferably with TMS, WMS or business solutions. Software sales experience is mandatory.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations credibly to senior leaders.
  • Work Ethic: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Professionalism: High degree of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and follow-up capabilities.
