Qualifications

  • Strong communicator, able to embrace change and motivate colleagues and students.
  • Competent in literacy and numeracy (GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent).
  • Experience or knowledge of specific learning difficulties (SEMH, ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia).
  • Safeguarding training to at least Level 3 or willingness to undertake local authority training.

The Therapeutic Learning Mentor is the key contact for a range of our students, monitoring their welfare, experience, and safeguarding. This role implements behaviour and attendance policies and acts as a positive role model, ensuring all students thrive.
