A community-focused healthcare provider in the UK is seeking qualified nursing professionals to deliver high standards of perioperative care. As part of the team at University Hospital Lewisham's theatres, you will assist in emergency and elective procedures, ensuring effective communication and compliance with professional standards. Candidates must hold a Registered Nurse or ODP qualification with experience in perioperative care. This role provides opportunities for continuous professional development and teamwork.

We are seeking dedicated, motivated qualified professional to join us in University Hospital Lewisham - Theatres. As a key member of the team, you will deliver high standards of perioperative care, and have the ability to support multidisciplinary team to facilitate excellent patient care in the operating theatres.
You must be a Registered Nurse or have an ODP qualification with a proven record within the perioperative. In return for your hard work, we offer well-established, structured mentoring and staff development packages to support you in your role.
The post holder will be accountable and responsible for providing a high standard of patient focused individualised care, with an evidenced based practice focus. They will be expected to carry out aspects of patient care without direct supervision. They will be able to communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team and contribute to the effective running of the theatre / department. Utilising the principles of the national framework and local strategy of Clinical Governance and other national initiatives, they will participate in action on improvements in patient care. The post holder will carry out all duties in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery (NMC) Codes of Conduct, HCPC and Relevant Trust policies.

We are a training centre for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals.
