Test Rig Technician

Syntech are looking for a number of Test Rig Technicians to join a large TIC services business (Test Inspection & Calibration). This is a business with global reach and offers career progression & training.

Test Rig Technician duties :
  • Calibrate electrical temperature load force flow and pressure measuring instrumentation to traceable and accredited standards
  • Ensure work is carried out on time by following job sheet instructions and schedules
  • Support and participate in audits both internal and customer-driven
  • Develop and audit calibration procedures and uncertainty budgets
  • Carry out additional technical tasks in line with your capability with training provided where required
Test Rig Technician knowledge :
  • Electrical diagnostic background
  • A formal qualification in engineering or extensive hands-on calibration experience
  • Understanding of calibration principles and metrology best practices
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
  • Experience in jig / tool recertification is desirable
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills
  • Ability to work professionally in a customer-focused environment
