Overview

About the Role: As a Tenant Involvement Project Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of tenant and leaseholder involvement projects, ensuring they meet statutory and regulatory requirements such as the Social Housing White Paper, the Building Safety Bill, and the Tenant's Charter. You will drive Nottingham City Council Housing Services' Tenant Engagement Strategy, putting tenants and leaseholders at the heart of decision-making and service improvement. The role involves managing and evaluating projects that promote participation, health, and wellbeing, while building strong partnerships with local organisations, funders, and community groups. You will oversee grant applications, financial processes, and audits to ensure value for money and compliance, and provide operational and strategic support to the Head of Involvement. Acting as a key point of contact for tenants, leaseholders, and partner agencies, you will champion collaboration, promote equality and inclusion, and create meaningful opportunities for residents to influence the services that affect their homes and communities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and delivery of tenant and leaseholder involvement projects to meet statutory/regulatory requirements.
  • Drive forward the Housing Services Tenant Engagement Strategy and ensure tenants and leaseholders influence decision-making and service improvement.
  • Manage and evaluate projects focused on participation, health, and wellbeing; build partnerships with local organisations, funders and community groups.
  • Oversee grant applications, financial processes and audits to ensure value for money and compliance.
  • Provide operational and strategic support to the Head of Involvement.
  • Act as a key point of contact for tenants, leaseholders and partner agencies; promote collaboration, equality and inclusion; create meaningful opportunities for resident influence.

Application Details

Job Description: Role: Project Manager – Tenant Involvement; Contract Type: 9-month fixed term contract/secondment; Working Hours: 18.5 hours per week (Thursday, Friday 7.4 hours; Wednesday 3.7 hours); Working hybrid. Salary: Grade H – Starting £40,777 (Level 1) rising to £44,075 (Level 4) per annum. Location: Harvey Road, NG8 or Loxley House, NG2.
