A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Supply Chain professional to ensure stock availability and maintain inventory levels within the pharmaceuticals sector. The ideal candidate will have a background in supply chain, especially in FMCG, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work under pressure. This position offers competitive hourly pay and a hybrid working model on a 12-month temporary contract with the opportunity to extend.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensure stock availability at all times.
  • Obtain stock information from manufacturers weekly.
  • Maintain lean inventory levels in accordance with order cycles.
  • De-risk product write-off scenarios.
  • Ensure replenishment according to buying multiples.
  • Perform analyses for reporting.
  • Collaborate with sales and account management.

Skills

Ability to analyse and interpret numerical data
Ability to work under pressure & prioritise work
Strong Excel knowledge to a V-Lookup, Pivot table level

Education

Background in supply chain management

Job Description
  • Ensure stock availability at all times in the most efficient manner
  • Obtain stock information from manufacturers on a weekly basis
  • Maintain "lean inventory levels" in accordance with order cycles, departmental and contractual parameters.
  • De-risk product write-off scenarios
  • Ensure replenishment in accordance with product buying multiples
  • Perform analyses for reporting/performance
  • Collaborate with sales and account management team
The Successful Applicant
  • A background in supply chain, ideally within pharmaceuticals or FMCG
  • Ability to analyse and interpret numerical data
