Temporary Maintenance Business Partner

Welwyn Garden City, hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office and the rest working from home.

Temporary 15 months, full time (37.5 hpw), Monday to Friday

Earn circa £40,000 pa negotiable based on skills and experience plus brilliant benefits including health cash plan!

If you’re someone who loves fixing problems and bringing people together to make things better, this could be the role for you. As our new Maintenance Business Partner, you’ll join our Maintenance South Team and take the lead in handling complaints from our customers, especially across London and the South East. You’ll be their voice and their advocate, owning their experience and working with teams across the business to get things sorted.

You’ll be the first person in this role for the South, so there’s real space to shape how we do things. You’ll work closely with our Head of Maintenance and help build something new that really works for our customers. It’s a great chance to take ownership, drive change and make a real impact from day one. And you’ll be doing it with a team that truly cares about getting it right.

What you’ll do
  • Handle customer complaints with care and urgency, making sure their voices are heard
  • Work closely with our DLO and teams across London and the South East to put things right
  • Hold contractors to account and share learnings from complaints to improve our service
  • Analyse reports and spot trends to help drive long-term improvements
  • Support colleagues with data, insight and solutions that help shape our maintenance approach
  • Present clear updates and recommendations to senior stakeholders across the business

You have
  • Strong experience solving customer complaints and working with cross-functional teams

The practical bits
  • You’ll work Monday to Friday
  • The team work flexible hours between 08.00 and 18.00
  • You’ll manage your own diary, so if you want to take a longer lunch for a haircut or swim, you can use your flexi time to manage that!
  • This is a hybrid role and you’ll spend 2 days a week in our Welwyn Garden City Offices, visiting with our customers across the area and the rest working from home
  • To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!
